Strategic Sourcing Leader Job at Profile Products LLC
Position Summary
The Leader ? Strategic Sourcing will be responsible for the standardization and leverage of Profile Product?s complete spend on raw materials, consumables, energy, MRO, CapEx and purchased services and other materials. This position will be responsible for creation of a sourcing strategy for the organization and building and leading the team that executes it. This role will be building the function out from first steps.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Create view of organizational spend across all entities and build opportunity matrix across key commodities and spend focus areas.
- Determine optimal sourcing strategy for each commodity group and apply internal and contract resources to implement plan.
- Lead sourcing team in project management of activities. Coordinate local and corporate support for initiatives and act as key integrator into the Profile Business System.
- Develop staffing plan for optimal value creation. Ensure team achieves total cost targets
- Develop internal controls and business processes to improve governance of procure to pay cycle.
- Lead and act as key resource for VAVE activities within Operations teams.
- Maintain contract database and incorporate opportunities to leverage contract expiration into strategy
- Own supplier master cleanup and governance in ERP platform
- Partner with quality function to create supplier quality management process, apply resources to audits and development plans. Create and maintain dashboard of supplier performance.
- Work with capital equipment engineering during early-involvement phase of projects. Apply focus on supplier evaluation for total cost and specification-driven project bids.
- Incorporate new suppliers into Profile network as part of M&A integration plan.
- Leverage local sourcing resources for overall network approach or release to business as appropriate.
