Title: Structural Panels Sales Manager

Reports to: Business Unit Vice President

Based at: Remote

Job purpose: At MJB, we have combined people, products, and technologies to offer the most innovative wood products solutions available in the market today. This position should employ innovative solutions to assist the company’s growing sales divisions utilizing all technology MJB owns. In addition, the position will support all efforts of the sales division, interfacing with both internal and external customers.

MJB Wood Group, Inc. is looking for a self-motivated Structural Panels Trader who is creative, business-minded, has an entrepreneurial spirit, and excels in not only closing deals but putting deals together. We are looking for very special people…..people who understand wood products, vendor relationships, inventory management, and most of all, offer exceptional customer service.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

● Minimum of 5 years experience in panel sales to industrial customers

● Communicate effectively with customers, partners, and suppliers regarding order status and market trends.

● Use in-house technology to manage inventory stock levels and ensure adequate stock and sufficient inventory turns

● Comfortable interfacing with all levels of the organization

● Present a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and professionalism at all times.

● Industry knowledge of wood panel products in any of the following: Softwood Plywood, Domestic/Import Oriented Strand Board - Panels, LSL, Enhanced OSB, LVL (Customer and supply contacts in all of these products)

● Understand basic math skills to be used in pricing material, costing orders, and managing inventory stock levels.

● Exhibit the ability to think outside the box when working with customers to create solutions that create value for the customer

● Possess strong problem-solving skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
