Student - Financial Aid Job at Purdue University
A Student Staff is essential to the success of Purdue Northwest. Students selected to be Student Staff in the Office of Financial Aid will promote PNW and build relationships with prospective students, parents, faculty, staff and community leaders by providing clerical support for the Office of Financial Aid which includes filing, mailing, copying, faxing, assembling information packets, and answering student questions and phone calls. As a student staff member in the Office of Financial Aid, you will develop leadership and organizational skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Communicate clearly and constructively; provide updates to supervisor regularly
- Exercise good judgment and make appropriate decisions in performance of duties
- Answering student questions in person and on the phone
- Filing Paperwork
- Data Entry
- Assemble information packets
- Participate in ongoing training
- Assist staff with individual projects
- Other duties as assigned
Applicants should have excellent phone etiquette, computer knowledge, minimum typing skills and strong customer service skills. Candidate must possess excellent verbal skills to professionally interact with student and parents. Must be responsible, reliable, and possess a strong work ethic.
- U.S. Citizen or U.S. National
Must be a current PNW student.

- Able to work 10-20 hours a week at either campus (Hammond or Westville)
