Student - Technician Assistant Job at Utah Valley University
Position Announcement
Utah Valley University is seeking a student to work under the direction of a lead technician. The student will assist with carpet extraction, furniture moves and installing fixtures.
Shifts will be Monday - Friday 9:15pm-1:15am
Summary of Responsibilities
Responsible for a variety of tasks, including, but not limited to:
- Extraction of carpets
- Cleaning of hard floors
- Furniture extraction
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be a current UVU student.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Comfortable on lifts and ladders
- Ability to twist, turn, kneel and crouch for 4 hours
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and flooring equipment
Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Assist with moves, minors repairs, and instillations
- Ability to be on feet, move, bend, and walk for the duration of shift.
- Ability to stay on task.
