CURRENT NEED:

• Substitute Secondary High School Math Teacher positions will be located at various school districts throughout Southern Chester County, PA
• Great opportunity for recent retirees!

***The daily pay rate for a Secondary Math Substitute Teacher is $500 per day!***

Responsibilities:

• Instruct individuals and groups in subject area
• Plan and implement curriculum and lessons
• Evaluate and monitor student progress based on classroom performance, test scores, and observation of behavior
• Support objectives and interventions of the educational program
• Maintain safe physical environment of the classroom
• Maintain contact with parents of students and/or professionals concerning student progress
• Prepare report cards, educational records, classroom observation records, and other documentation as required

Qualifications:

• Bachelors level degree in education required
• Valid PA Instructional Certificate in Secondary Mathematics
• Experience working in education preferred

Credentialing Requirements:

(Clearances and TB current within 12 months)

• Valid PDE certification
• PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance
• PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance
• PA Department of Education FBI Use code 1KG6XN
• TB Screening
• Education Documentation - Diploma OR Official Transcripts
