Summer Associate, Client Advisory | New York, NY
Jordan Park's Summer Associate Program is a 10-week experience that introduces participants to all facets of client advisory and wealth management. Summer Associates will work directly with the members of the Client Advisory team across all facets of client engagement.
Jordan Park's Client Advisory Team is responsible for delivering a differentiated client experience to those we serve. Our Client Advisors coordinate investment, planning, and advice across a range of areas including portfolio construction, risk management, cash flow planning, single stock diversification, tax analysis, trust & estate, philanthropic planning, and other important aspects of our clients' financial lives.
Your Role
Summer Associate responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Working closely with a subset of the firm's Client Advisors to provide comprehensive wealth management advice to ultra-high net worth individuals and families
- Partnering with the Investment Team to recommend and implement strategies to help protect, manage and grow wealth based on the client's fact pattern and unique needs
- Working with Advisors on new business opportunities to determine and deliver how Jordan Park can help prospective clients achieve their financial ambitions
- Coordinating with the Investment, Client Service and Financial Analyst Teams to deliver portfolio reporting and ad hoc analyses based on Client Advisor and/or client requests
- Financial planning and forward modeling of client balance sheets
- Tackling requests that may be outside of the job description and serving as an advisor on behalf of a family on matters that may go beyond the balance sheet
About You
- Are a 1st year MBA student or 2nd year law student
- Are available for the entire duration of the 10-week program from June 12, 2023, to August 18, 2023
- Genuinely like helping people
- Pay attention to the details and produce accurate work product
- Are hungry to learn; Love taking on challenges and finding creative solutions
- Are resilient and don't get flustered easily
- Can communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders

The Summer Associate Program allows you to gain valuable experience in financial services with direct exposure to our Client Advisory team.
The program offers exposure to leading entrepreneurs, investors, & philanthropists, the chance to work with a team that cares for each other and is committed to you as an individual, and support for your career, both here and beyond Jordan Park.
It also gives you the chance to join Jordan Park full-time as a Client Advisor upon graduation. Client Advisors are critical to our franchise as they provide meaningful and tailored advice to our clients to help them achieve their unique goals, while planning for future generations and making a difference in the world.
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation at Jordan Park includes a base salary, discretionary year-end bonus, benefits and other perks. We apply a total reward philosophy when determining compensation terms.
The expected base salary for this role in New York, New York will range from $100,000 - $150,000 per year commensurate with experience, job-related skills, relevant education, licenses and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
