  • SUMMER CAMP STAFF – Camp Waluhili

Camp Fire Green Country is looking for fun and energetic people who are excited about working to provide a life changing summer for the leaders of the future. Camp Waluhili is a residential camp located in Eastern Oklahoma on 220 acres on Ft Gibson Lake. We focus our campers’ experiences on building friendships and leadership skills, self-confidence, an appreciation for the outdoors, and an awareness of community responsibility – all in an inclusive environment. Camp staff achieve this by promoting active learning within small groups while progressively challenging campers as they grow older and gain experience.

We are currently interviewing for the following positions for the 2023 Summer season.

· Youth Counselors

- Inclusion Counselors

· Climbing/Rappelling Instructors

· Target Sports Instructors

· Canoeing/Kayak/SUP Instructors

· Lifeguards - Training leading to certification through the American Red Cross provided

· CIT Director

· Food Service Staff

Wage: $375 - $500 per week DOE and certifications, includes meals and housing while at camp.

Dates: May 28- July 23

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Ability to work with children outdoors

· Ability to relate to one’s peer group

· Ability to accept supervision and guidance

· Ability to teach activities

· Current 1st Aid and CPR (training provided)

· Minimum age: 18

  • High School graduate
