Support Equipment Technician Job at CKS Packaging, Inc.
Job Responsibilities:
Ensures operation of machinery by completing preventive maintenance requirements on support equipment, chillers, compressors, air conditioners, cooling tower, etc.
To follow sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
Troubleshoot machines mechanically and hydraulically
Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical operation and listening for problems;
Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools.
Request spare parts as necessary
Make mechanical adjustments using the correct hand tools.
Maintains technical knowledge by reviewing technical publications
Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
