Assistant Manager

Position Summary

SweetFrog is looking for an Assistant Manager who represents and enjoys frozen yogurt. We are seeking someone who is responsible, hard working and will be a good leader and positive influence. This candidate will ensure a friendly, clean and safe environment and work with staff to ensure all necessary procedures are followed and performed with excellence. The assistant manager reports and works closely with both the manager and store owner.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage staff, inventory, and overall store operations
• Equipment and machine cleaning, maintenance and monitoring
• Supply ordering
• Adhere to budgets and cost containment
• Manage customer inquiries/reviews, fundraising, party requests, and corporate promotions- communicate necessary information to all staff
• Ensure product quality and safety
• Ensure excellent customer service, staff training and store cleanliness.

Prerequisites:

Education: High School or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience: 1-2 years of Management and Staff supervisory experience (Preferred)

• Understanding of, and strict Adherence to Safety and Cleaning Protocols
• Must have excellent work ethic and communication skill

Essential Functions: Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instruction.

Physical: Must be able to work any area of the restaurant when needed and to operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register (cashier). Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.

Job Type: Full Time/Part Time and Day Shift/Weekend Shift positions vary by location.

Work Location: Wilkesboro, NC, Mt. Airy, NC, and Boone, NC

Compensation: Starting at $12/hr, plus a potential monthly bonus.

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
