Job Overview:
- Responsible for the planning, organizing, teaching, and evaluation of swim classes in line with the YUSA national standards for the YMCA Swim Lessons program

Certification Requirements:
- CPR/AED, First Aid and oxygen certified
- YMCA certified swim lesson certification/training or equivalent preferred
Required Qualifications for Lifeguard 1:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
- All aquatic staff are eligible for random drug screen testing
- All of the Certification Requirements listed above within 6 months of hire
- Less than 1-year experience
- Must be able to comprehend and enforce all rules and safety requirements surrounding pool safety
Required Qualifications for Lifeguard 2:
- All of Swim Instructor 1 requirements
- At least 1-year experience
Required Qualifications for Lifeguard 2:
- All of Swim Instructor 1 requirements
- At least 2 years’ experience
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.50 - $17.00 per hour
