SafeSplash Swim Schools is looking for swim instructors to join our Manchester NH location. At SafeSplash, we believe swimming is a life skill®. Therefore, we approach each one of our swim lessons with great skill, passion and individual attention. In addition to teaching water safety to every swimmer, our goal is to teach confidence in the water that will translate to all parts of a swimmer's life. SafeSplash® Swim Instructors are responsible for upholding and teaching in accordance with the SafeSplash® Swim School teaching certification and curriculum.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

· The main focus of a swim instructor is to teach swimming skills in accordance with SafeSplash® curriculum in a fun, positive manner.

· Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students and customers on their swimming efforts.

· Ensure swimmer safety.

· Provide Deck Supervisor with class information (ribbons, student changes, etc) to keep proper class organization.

Job Requirements:

*_Job Requirements:_*

• Previous aquatic experience (personal or professional) is required. This includes knowledge of basic strokes, ability to provide instruction and communicate clearly.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to attend shifts regularly (minimal call-outs). We have a small, dedicated, exceptional team. If instructors are not consistently attending shifts, our team is affected.
• A Growth Mindset: SafeSplash instructors are always willing to learn and improve. Our instructors are trained regularly in new and enhanced techniques that assist students in progressing within the company curriculum.
• An ability to work independently as well as on a team, be supportive of coworkers, and accept help and feedback from Management.
• Current American Red Cross CPR-PR/AED, First Aid for adult, swimmer and infant required or certification will be provided.
• Paid training in the SafeSplash® curriculum and company standard will be provided.

*_Compensation:_*

• Commensurate with experience and skills. Raises are earned through evaluation of teaching ability, reliability, and a consistent positive attitude as well as a growth mindset. Starting rates range typically between $16-19/hour.
• Signing bonus- $200: $100 after your first month of reliable employment and the other $100 after 3 months.

SafeSplash Manchester is currently operating on Sundays from 7:45 am-1:45 pm.

We will be opening 1-2 more shifts in Manchester, NH after all new staff have been passed to teach every level of our company curriculum.

This is not a seasonal swim instruction business; this is a year-round dedicated learning environment. We are seeking individuals to join our team for 6 months or more. If you are willing to train and perform to our standard, you will have plenty of opportunities to grow within this company!
