About us
Kid- Fit Swim Academy is a premier aquatics facility that offers swim lessons for those of all ages. Our team of experienced leaders takes the time to connect with learners and support them as they continue to improve their skills.
We are looking for go-getters and role models to serve as Swim Coaches/Instructors. We offer competitive salary and a flexible schedule. Instructors will learn the curriculum for all swim levels, as well as teach as an aid or assistant under the supervision of a seasoned instructor.
Communication:
- Makes eye contact with students and communicates in terms they can understand.
- Uses positive motivation techniques.
- Asks students questions to monitor their understanding.
- Provides students with feedback for their activities.
- Uses “teachable moments” to enhance their development, as well as using appropriate techniques to discipline unruly children.
Instructor Conduct:
- Flexible schedule
- Smiles and has fun with the students.
- Teaches in the water for every class.
- Role Model and demonstrates skills for students
Class Management:
- Can see all students at all times during the lesson, never turns their back.
- Uses a variety of organizational patterns maximizing swim time for every student.
- Keeps the class moving from one activity to another, smoothly.
- Starts and ends on time.
- Takes accurate attendance for every class.
- Uses teaching aids and equipment appropriately. Gathers teaching aids before class begins and cleans up after each class.
- Keeps a balance between working with students individually and allowing them to practice on their own.

Pay: $14.13 - $19.00 per hour
