General Description

Lids is looking for a System Administrator that can understand the systems and operations used within the company. You will work in a team to maintain, upgrade, and manage our software and hardware. You should be able to diagnose and resolve problems at a fast pace. You should also have the patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users. Your goal will be to ensure that our infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with the business and IT team a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) model.
  • Be a successful and productive member of cross-functional teams.
  • Play a role in managing the configuration, installation, and maintenance of servers and related equipment.
  • Be a part of improvement efforts to software, hardware, design, etc.
  • Maintain best practices to drive timely closure of Incidents, changes, and Service Requests within SLAs.
  • Maintain documentation of Lids’ enterprise infrastructure.
  • Independently accomplish complex tasks and work with vendors as appropriate to resolve problems.
  • Interface with all client levels and be able to explain complex issues in layman’s terms.
  • Support and adhere to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Provide excellent customer service as outlined in the HW&L policy manual.

Job Required Knowledge & Skills

Bachelor of Science Degree in a computer related curriculum (e.g./Computer Science, Networking) OR equivalent experience supporting enterprise-level computer systems.

Strong problem solving and communication skills.

Ability to work in a team or independently to resolve issues.
