TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: In addition to all Level 1 and 2 tasks and responsibilities, Level 3: Provide overall Systems Completion leadership and expertise, including all matters related to commissioning and turnover/systems acceptance. Also, provides engineering definition and planning to support mechanical completion. - Collaborates with Operations/EPC Contractor to ensure a safe and effective execution of Systems Completion activities and to ensure all Systems Completion contract requirements are met - Manages Systems Completion interfaces between PMT and EPC Contractor to facilitate successful commissioning and hand-over - Provides assistance to EPC Contractor for utilization of a computerized Completion Management System for tracking, certification and quality purposes - Applies Systems Completion lessons learned from previous projects - Collaborates with and supports the start-up team to achieve a successful turnover, start-up and acceptance by Operations - Assist PMT in meeting Clients expectations as required.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor s or master s degree in Engineering - Good verbal and written communication skills - Good supervisory skills and ability to work within a team - Project Systems Completion/commissioning experience with offshore facilities. - Worldwide experience with Contractors, in particular those involved in the construction of offshore facilities - Prior experience interfacing with Offshore Operational department LOCATION: Final Site Sabine Pass, TX SUPERVISES:
MAIN FUNCTIONS Handover Coordinator focuses on coordination of processes supporting transition between construction and commissioning and commissioning and start-up, including the coordination of walk downs, and implementation of project processes for verification and documentation at these stages. The role is characterized by: Strong communication and coordination skills in order to align multiple individuals and effectively steward processes when not in a position of authority. Collaboration with the Contractor to ensure processes and documentation requirements are clearly understood and adhered to. Arbitration between individuals with divergent opinions and perspectives to gain alignment and progress
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES- Responsibilities of Handover Coordinator shall include the following: Be familiar with the Contract Scope of Work and all Systems Completion Project Design Specifications PDSs including specified discipline PDSs addressing installation and commissioning. Review and provide input to Contractor deliverables including but not limited to Procedures, Schedules, Plans, Check Sheets, Fishbone Diagrams, Skylines, TCPs, etc. Verify the system is complete according to the design, red-lined P ID s reflect as built condition. Coordinate company participation in all handover and turnover walk downs to review completion of facility scope and identify outstanding work lists and punch list items Jointly steward categorization of all punch list items with Contractor and in compliance with associated processes Organize Company verification and documentation of punch list items as completed by Contractor Develop and Steward the Detailed Outstanding Work List Budget estimations. Track Turnover progress by System and to include punchlist status. Track status of equipment preservation and documentation. Communicate sequencing priorities to project team and Contractor through relevant progress reporting and analysis
