Samaritan Health Services (SHS) seeks a Talent Acquisition Assistant to support our growing recruiting team.

Scope of responsibility:
Our Talent Acquisition Assistant will be a key member of the TA team, supporting the recruiters by speaking to candidates about their work history. We are looking for an individual who has:

  • The ability to manage their own workflow
  • Can prioritize daily tasks
  • Display effective oral and written communicate skills
  • Has the ability to clearly document details shared via phone calls
  • Possesses a warm and friendly demeanor
  • Can engage with candidates over the phone
  • Has the ability to probe for details
  • Has or can quickly learn knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws


The TA Assistant will be the primary backup for other roles within the department.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • One of the following required:
    • Four (4) year professional office experience
    • Three (3) years professional office experience including one (1) year in HR setting
  • Experience or training with computer applications including MS Word and Excel required
