Batesville is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist / HR Coordinator to join our team in Manchester, TN. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist / HR Coordinator you will be responsible for supporting our Manchester manufacturing facility. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist / HR Coordinator you’ll be responsible for providing broad human resources support to our organization. Areas of support include sourcing, identifying, and qualifying candidates for non-exempt positions while achieving all recruitment metrics, written communications, employee relations, and implementation of policies and procedures. This will be achieved by partnering with internal business units, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as implementing creative recruiting ideas. This position will be fully onsite.

There are no supervisory duties for this role.

Travel is not required for this role.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage full lifecycle recruitment (sourcing to hire), with guidance, to meet organizational hiring metrics.
  • Develop a strong understanding of our brand and our brand image in the marketplace, effectively communicate that information to prospective candidates, and successfully identify individuals who will be successful within our organization.
  • Implement recruitment plans, with guidance, for open positions as established with the Hiring Manager utilizing standard processes.
  • Attract and proactively identify active and passive candidates through direct sourcing, social media, job boards and/or other sources.
  • Communicate key issues and challenges during the recruiting process and work with recruitment team and hiring managers to effectively drive them to resolution.
  • Build relationships and maintain a presence within community, associations, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, social media, and internet sites to establish a talent pool for future openings.
  • Support college recruiting efforts by participating in Campus Recruiting Team and/or Batesville Internship program.
  • Maintain employment records related to events such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions.
  • Analyzes and interprets employment-related data and prepares required reports or analysis. Conducts research on human resources issues and makes recommendations to management to improve conditions, processes, or efficiency.
  • Maintain HR and miscellaneous records such as attendance, vacation, headcount reports, etc.
  • Maintain new hire engagement through regular shop floor touchpoints.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • Minimum of one-year recruiting experience and/or training
  • or equivalent combination of education and experience with an emphasis in Talent Acquisition

Great to Haves:

  • Basic experience with recruitment lifecycle
  • Basic experience with Applicant Tracking System
  • Prior Human Resources Coordinator / administrative experience preferred.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing/supply chain industry strongly preferred.
  • Experience recruiting for logistics drivers with knowledge of DOT requirements is a plus.
  • Intermediate experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong written and oral communication
