Design and deliver talent management solutions to meet specific business needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes the following:
- Collaborates with business and functional leaders to deliver tangible solutions to solve talent challenges in an effective, scalable manner.
- Manage multiple projects to deliver agreed upon results within resource constraints.
- Develops tools and processes to support strategic frameworks, such as career development, skills inventory, performance management, talent reviews, workforce planning, and diversity, equity, and inclusion. This may include training, performance support tools, and group processes.
- Designs processes with mentality of “freedom within a framework”, allowing businesses flexibility critical to unique business strategies.
- Establishes common lexicon for talent management efforts across the enterprise.
- Leverages technology capabilities to meet needs of stakeholder groups through process design and configuration skills.
- Stays abreast of evolving research and practices involving talent management to deliver business results.
- Identifies, organizes, and analyzes data to address talent issues and identifies opportunities for improvement.
- Assists colleagues in making talent information actionable in various business units.
- Trains colleagues on technology that supports talent management and maintains knowledge base related to same.
- Applies systematic process to improve others’ ability to set goals and maximize strengths; establishes coaching agreement and trust, displays coaching presence and active listening, asks powerful questions and uses direct communication, creates awareness, assists in designing development opportunities, goals, and plans and in the management of progress and accountability.
- Designs and executes change management strategies appropriate for diverse stakeholders, business units and initiatives which drive adoption, engagement, and proficiency; applies a deliberate process to shift individuals, teams, and organizations from current state to desired state.
- Assists the facilitation of strategic planning for change and supports the change intervention.
- Encourages integration of change into organizational culture and assists in the management of consequences; assists in the evaluation of change results.
- Monitors and maintains on-going processes which drive performance management and career development; identifies and prioritizes process and technology enhancements.
- Assists in conducting diagnostic assessments and providing feedback.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY
No supervisory/management authority.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree and at least 6 years of talent management experience in specified area of expertise or an equivalent combination of education and experience. HCM experience utilizing the following modules: career and performance or LMS required. Experience presenting technical details to non-technical audiences required. Experience with Adobe Articulate preferred.
