Tax Preparer Job at LaReine Consulting Co.
Responsibilities
- Calculate tax payments
- Estimate tax returns, deductibles, liabilities, and expenses
- Prepare quarterly and annual reports
- Collect data from income statements and expense documents
- Complete clients’ tax documentation
- Review data on reports and detect possible errors
- Answer tax- and finance-related questions
- Research new tax trends and regulations
- Advise individuals and companies on tax strategies
- Ensure compliance with government tax rules
Requirements and skills
- Experience as a Tax Preparer or a similar role preferred not required
- Good knowledge of tax preparation software preferred not required
- Advanced MS Office skills (particularly in using Excel)
- Comprehensive understanding of government tax laws preferred not required.
- Excellent computational ability
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- PTIN IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT RETURNS AND WILL BE REQUIRED BEFORE STARTING TRAINING (IRS.GOV)
Pay is based ONLY on commission on your clients.
We will train those without experience as long as you are motivated to get at least 10+ clients and are prepared to fully complete training.
