Enjoy working with students but don’t have a teacher certification? Rimes Early Learning Center in Leesburg is currently hiring Teacher Assistants for ESE classrooms. Consider becoming a Highly Qualified Teacher Assistant with Lake County Schools. We are the 19th largest public school district in the state of Florida, serving over 43,000 students. Lake County Schools is located less than an hour away from Orlando. Under supervision of a teacher, our teacher assistants help students with educational needs and special needs. We are looking for those that have a passion for working with students to join our team.
Full-time and Part-time positions are available at multiple schools. Our teacher assistants work 186 days a year from August to June.
REQUIREMENTS:
All applicants must possess one of the following
· Associate’s degree or higher, or
· Two (2) years of study at an institution of higher education; or
· Sixty (60) college credit hours from an accredited institution, or
· An acceptable score on the State mandated Paraprofessional Exam.
