Duties
- Utilize a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media etc.) to teach children
- Observe children to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem
- Organize classroom schedule and supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times
- Track children's progress and report to parents
- Communicate with parents frequently through informal discussions, progress reports, and parent-teacher conferences
- Collaborate with other teachers
- Ensure healthy classroom environment - including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children
- Follow closing procedures and establish a clean classroom
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 6 Months Licensed Childcare Experience
- Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
- CPR & First Aid Certified
- Food handlers card
- ID or Birth Certificate
- Negative TB test Results (within a year)
- Completed Application
- Resume
- Workforce Registry ID Number
