RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS
- Must have a valid PA driver’s license and be able to drive an organization automobile/van.
- Must be able to obtain Act 33/34/73 Clearances upon hire.
- Master’s Degree in Human/Social Services and 1 year of related experience (with preferably one year in a leadership position of either supervising others and/or leading a team) OR Bachelor’s degree in Human/Social Services and 3 years of related experience (with preferably one year in a leadership position of either supervising others and/or leading a team) OR Associate’s Degree and 4 years of related experience OR a High School Diploma and 9 years of related experience .
- Must obtain and maintain DPW Medication Train the Trainer certification.
SCHEDULE- Non-Exempt
Friday through Monday 6:30am – 4:30pm

ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Team Lead provides assistance and training to individuals with Intellectual Disabilities/Serious Mental Illness in our residential treatment locations. We’re looking for people who have experience developing and mentoring a team, and who believe in a strengths-based approach, and use positive practices to help guide their everyday activities. Garden View Manor is a 56 bed CMHPCH where each resident has their own bedroom and bathroom. Our program is licensed by the Department of Human Services Bureau of Adult Licensing. You work together with a team of at least 4-7 staff on any given shift, so you are never alone.
We’re looking for a Team Lead to be the “go to” for the daily unit operations of our team. Your main responsibility will be to the people we serve, ensuring that policies and procedures are followed, and that benchmarks for performance are met in an efficient and effective manner. As such, you’ll be leading a shift of 8 staff to success through a high level of communication – and strong relationship building with both internal and external providers and resources.

This position will work within a 56 bed Comprehensive Mental Health Personal Care Home where each resident has their own bedroom and bathroom. Our program is licensed by the Department of Human Services Bureau of Adult Licensing. Team Leads assist the program supervisors (personal care home administrators) with maintaining resident charts and keeping in compliance with Department Human Services 2600 regulations . Team Leads engage staff with excellent interpersonal and team management skills. The team lead should have the ability to work well under pressure. This individual should assist staff in working through any issues/conflicts while leading and guiding with a high level of professionalism.
