Summary: The Team Leader I Maintenance is responsible for managing production maintenance associates and their activities to support production and plant operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage maintenance of machinery and equipment to optimize usefulness.
  • Coordinate department activities with manufacturing and facilities engineering.
  • Provide training and coaching to associates.
  • Direct subordinates in meeting safety and house-keeping standards.
  • Set maintenance job performance targets and cost control standards.
  • Maintain and control parts inventory for production and facilities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of experience in a maintenance role in an industrial environment, with demonstrated leadership qualities; or an associate degree and a minimum of 3+ years of experience in a maintenance role in an industrial environment; or a High School Diploma and 5+ years of experience in a maintenance role in an industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulics, presses, robotics, plc equipment and related technical machinery. Knowledge of applicable tools used to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair.
  • Some travel may be required to support current facility, other locations, attend trade shows, seminars, training, and educational events. Must be able to be present in the manufacturing environment on a regular basis for extended periods of time and is therefore, subject to normal exposures to dust, heat, chemicals, and noise present in a manufacturing environment.
