Technical Backoffice Specialist (CNC Equipment) Job at MEISYSTEM INC
Meisystem Inc. (MEI), leader in the manufacturing of automatic lens edging machines, is looking for a highly motivated individuals in the role of Technical Backoffice Assistant Reporting to the Tech Backoffice Supervisor, the Technical Backoffice Specialist will:
- Preparation of the techs’ business trips (installation, PM, and technical assistance visits)
- Part number lookup when requested by Technicians both on-site and Customer Support
- Customer service
- Identification of the part numbers
- Support technicians onsite
- Customer meetings for technical questions
- Such other job duties, responsibilities and/or job requirements that may be assigned to you from time to time
Qualifications and Skills
This job typically requires a high school or trade school diploma or 1-5 years of related experience. The successful candidates will also have:
- Electro-mechanical skills to interact with customers and the headquarter technical support department (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of modern CNC machinery and relative components (preferred)
- Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills
- Familiarity with Windows based computers
- Personal and professional satisfaction by providing solutions to problems while ensuring a high level of overall customer service/satisfaction
- A proven ability to self-motivate and work both independently and as part of a team
- An appreciation for and understanding of diverse audiences and communities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $32.00 per hour
