We are building the next generation of Data/Analytics and Machine Learning driven products and features for our B2B portfolio. We are looking for a high energy Technical Product Owner for our emerging Data/Analytics and ML suite of products and features to help our customers across the AR spectrum.

You are a seasoned product leader and creative thinker/problem solver who can work cross functionally and find high impact opportunities within the realm of Analytics and Machine Learning to embed across our products (Invoicing, Payments, Cash App, Collections, Ecommerce, etc). You have end to end experience across product management, program/PMO, customer engagement, product analytics, and serving as a liaison with key customers to further evolve and differentiate our offerings. You are pseudo-technical and savvy with data analysis (excel, SQL) and adept at working with highly technical teams. This means understanding aspects of the data platforms (data models, front end/middleware, data engineering pipelines) and have had a track record delivering global SAAS Analytics solutions.

As a TPO, you will work closely with customers, internal stakeholders, technology and functional teams to define and manage delivery of our product roadmap(s). You will play a key role in defining the ideal user experience and validating high impact features to benefit our customers. You will be involved in multiple aspects of the product lifecycle including advising on go-to-market, customer advisory discussions, pricing/packaging and contributing to operational budget needs.

While knowledge of AR B2B is helpful, it is not required. You will work alongside multiple SMEs within Billtrust to familiarize yourself with our rich suite of solutions but have the autonomy to tailor net new offerings using your prior experience in SAAS Analytics. Above all, you are a constant and resourceful learner.

What You'll Do:

  • Incubate and validate Analytics and ML centric Product opportunities based on market demand, ROI and overall customer impact/experience.
  • Directly engage with customers across segments and targeted personas to identify key pain points and high impact solutions.
  • Coordinate across multiple internal teams (Functional SMEs, Product Owners, Engineering, UIUX) to define an efficient and adaptive roadmap.
  • Define both short, mid and long term direction of key products and services keeping in mind reuse of assets and working with technology to ensure SLAs and NFRs are met
  • Build SMART business cases for ideas and drive prioritization backlog via weekly and monthly stakeholder meetings.
  • Help our Technical Product Owner teammates manage multiple product teams' backlog initiatives, epics, user stories, and cross-product dependencies
  • Works cross functionally with other Product Owners and departments to unblock dependencies and deliver on larger product goals
  • Work with product marketing and technical writers to assist with communication, marketing, training and end-user documentation
  • Persona test new features throughout the release and coordinate test fest prior to release go live with internal stakeholders
  • Provides transparency on results and planning through accurate and ideally automated reporting

What You'll Bring to the Team:

  • Bachelor's Degree and proven experience with global SAAS Analytics products/solutions
  • Knowledge of Analytics system tiers including Data Engineering, API/middleware constructs, and front end UIUX design.
  • Experience with self-directed data analysis across various domains (Product Usage, Customer Segmentation, P&L, Salesforce CRM, etc). Experience building dashboards and understanding data models is a plus.
  • Commercially oriented Product mindset. You think in business outcomes but can translate & relate to Product and Technology R&D teams
  • Ability to understand and manage a P&L statement.
  • Ability to successfully manage product backlog in a fast paced, product centric environment – 6+ years of relevant experience preferred
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, and work well in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to work directly with clients in user forum, round table, or customer outreach sessions
  • Ability to lead release activities from analysis through to implementation
  • Ability to plan for the future strategy while maintaining the current delivery
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

SALARY RANGE BELOW FOR COLORADO BASED APPLICANTS ONLY

Target Base Compensation: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 (bonus offered in addition to base compensation)

Billtrust intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience and location.
