CAPTURE 3D, Inc is seeking a hardware focused Technical Support Representative to expand our Customer Support Organization for our Farmington Hills, MI operations to provide support for our 3D non-contact manual and automated measurement and inspection solutions.
Our ATOS solutions have been embraced by a wide range of OEM's and their supplier base in the Additive Manufacturing, Aerospace, EV & ICE Automotive, Consumer products, Medical, Power Generation (Propulsion & Ground based), Space Travel, Casting & Forging, Metal Forming and Mold Injection arenas to name.
Our Customer Support representative is a key customer facing component to CAPTURE 3D's focus of delivering a high level of customer satisfaction contributing to our overall success by providing consistent, timely and excellent support to our clients. Responsibilities span from 3D scanner sensors, computers and associated components troubleshooting and overall solutions support both onsite and inhouse as well as system performance recertification's and support of our automated 3D scanning and Inspection solutions.
Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide client support for Capture 3D hardware and software solutions via phone, E-mail, and onsite meetings
  • In-house repair of our ATOS 3D sensors, computers, and other hardware sold and supported by Capture 3D
  • Inhouse and onsite ATOS solutions annual recertifications to support customer requirements
  • Maintain client and Capture 3D systems with current OS and application software releases
  • Support Capture 3D technical staff (Application Engineers) and management efforts
  • Log all support cases in CRM system and keep up to date with current account information and problem resolution
  • Support CAPTURE 3D facilities demonstration equipment
  • Help keep required spare parts stocked and inventoried
  • Participate in or take the lead position for RT part tracking, shipping to C3D vendors and GOM Germany and restock when RT replacements arrive
  • Travel requirements are up to 35% within the Southeastern US.
  • Able to work both independently and efficiently to meet deadlines and also be able to work as part of a team when required
  • Become proficient with Capture 3D's Microsoft CRM system
  • Be able to promptly answer support related emails, phone calls, and other electronic and verbal communications
  • Self motivated, detail-oriented, and resourceful
  • Experience with computer hardware and software as well as troubleshooting methodologies
  • Knowledge of metrology related hardware and software is a plus
