Technical Writer Contract- City of Baltimore- 100% Remote
Description of Services:
The City of Baltimore has established a Transformation Management Office (TMO) that aims to increase predictability, reliability, accountability and transparency of the Mayor's Strategic Action Plan and outcomes. The TMO's objectives are to integrate the City's strategic action efforts to realize outcomes and not just action completion, standardize project execution by having centralized guidance and control, and deliver a clear story of positive change for city residents and stakeholders. However, the City has limited project management capabilities, which are required to successfully deliver on the Mayor's Strategic Action Plan.
Our company will assist the City by providing Project Management (PM) resources to be used by the Action Owners as reference materials in their day-to-day activities of completing the Mayor's Strategic Action Plan. Provide the training, hands-on support and documentation to support Agencies in their efforts to plan and manage actions from the TMO and deliver outcomes.
This work will occur in the “Activate” phase beginning May, 2, 2022, you will be responsible for the following activities and deliverables:
- Develop an Action Owner Desk Guide that includes Project Management best practices and specific step-by-step processes that would support Action Owners as they create and execute project plans
- Create and share a PM Toolkit that consists of sample templates and tools used to successfully execute an action
