Technology Development Field Assistant Job at Advance Services, Inc.
This is a seasonal contract position for a great company- an opportunity to increase your skills in agricultural research!
- $20-$22/hr., depending on education and experience- paid weekly!
- Drug screen and background check required
- MVR required as it is a driving role
- Valid driver's license required
- May lift up to 50 lbs.
- Certified Pesticide Applicator License or willingness to obtain a license
Related experience preferred:
- Comply with OSHA safety requirements
- Understand and assist with requirements for regulated plot testing
- Ability to help with farm machine maintenance
- Familiarity in general field work/plot maintenance
- Assist with planting activities
- Participate in plot tours, field trainings and field days
- Assist with data collectionI
In this position you will serve as a key member of the local TD team that generates high quality product data for our customers and will have opportunities to interact with Company representatives and farmer cooperators, while enabling our field research operations through logistics support. Collaborate with internal teams and build knowledge and experience in seed and traits and crop protection technologies.
