Temporary Clerical Assistant – Alliance for Family Support Job at Thames Valley Council for Community Action
As a part of the Alliance for Family Support team, this position will be responsible for data entry, mailings and report processing. The Clerical Assistant will input information to excel documents, retrieve community resources through internet search and organize reports and back-up documents received each quarter. The Clerical Assistant must be willing to learn the reporting requirements and support with reports with deadline driven work each quarter. The Clerical Assistant will support the Assistant Director in searching for and organizing events and community resources for families. Confidentiality and the ability to deal with a diverse client population in a non-judgmental, empathetic, patient manner is imperative for this position.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent with two years relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must possess very strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Basic computer skills.
- Effective organization and communication skills.
- Ability to operate basic business machines, such as copier and printer.
- Bilingual individuals encouraged to apply but not required.
