If you have a passion for human resources and you're looking for an engaging, temporary opportunity, Imperial Manufacturing Group has a great position as a Human Resources Specialist. This role will involve performing a variety of HR duties, including assisting with sourcing new talent, posting open requisitions, recruiting, new hire orientation, and employee relations.

This position will be a temporary 6 month assignment from April 2023 to September 2023.

Your Responsibilities

• Facilitate full cycle recruiting process to meet the various staffing goals across all levels – including pre-screening, testing, interviewing, drug and background screening, etc
• Create and implement strategies to attract job seekers
• Collaborate with the HR team to continue to develop and refine the employee onboarding and offboarding experience
• Build an understanding of human resources guidelines, employment law, policies and procedures through research and practical application
• Data reporting and analysis skill set by utilizing the firm’s HRIS
• Maintain onboarding process
• Facilitate new hire orientation

Requirements

• Demonstrated knowledge of HR procedures and functions including managing employee relations
• Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills are a must
• Bachelor's degree in HR or a detail oriented certification in human resources, business management, or a related field, or 3 years of Human Resources experience.
• Knowledge of laws at the federal, state, and local level
• Proficient with office computer applications and software, as well as social media platforms
• Prior knowledge or experience in HR or recruiting

Working Conditions

• Traditional office environment. Occasional exposure to traditional manufacturing areas, which require the use of personal protective equipment.
• May need to sit or stand as needed. Reaching above shoulder heights, or below the waist. Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Occasionally may include lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
• Use of computer, keyboard, phone, copier, postage machine, and fax.
• Minimal travel is required

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
