Temporary Medical Billing Specialist Job at Big Island Substance Abuse Council (BISAC)
POSITION SUMMARY
This position is part time- temporary. The Billing Team Leader is a qualified staff member who will assist with daily activities in the Fiscal Department, with the ability to provide support to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Accountant Specialist and/or its designee.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education
High School diploma or graduate of an accredited business or secretarial school
Preferred Education/Experience
Minimum of two (2) years clerical experience, two (2) or more years’ experience in billing functions, preferably in a human service non-profit agency. Responsible for Mental Health Billing, Contract Billing, Posting Payments, Credentialing, ADAD billing, Managed Care Tracking, Next Gen setup, Denials, and Collections.
Required Certification/Registration
Basic Life Support: CPR Annually, First Aid (every 3 years), TB Annually; Valid State of Hawaii Driver’s License
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
