The Patent and Innovation Strategies group has an immediate opening for two Temporary Patent Clerks. The ideal candidates will have at least two years of experience with patent records and have knowledge of Transfer In processes. The responsibilities of these candidates include but are not limited to organizing and processing boxes of documents, familiarity with Patent documents cross-referencing physical files with NetDocs /CPI. The candidates should been familiar with Excel. Interface with Transfer In Specialist regarding processing documents for off-site storage; the ability to pick up and handle boxes and working on other projects and tasks as necessary.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, flexible, results-oriented, and a self-starter. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, strong computer skills, and strong organizational skills. The ideal candidate also possesses the ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced team environment. Occasional overtime work may be necessary.
The primary location for this job posting is in San Francisco. The actual base pay offered will depend upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, level of education, professional certifications and licenses, and work location. The anticipated pay range for this position is as follows: $22.48 - $30.41 per hour.
