Your Impact:

Delish is looking for a TikTok- and food-obsessed, enthusiastic coordinator to help ideate, produce, and edit social videos. This person should be well-versed in food content online and love cooking. Ideal candidate will have a solid sense of what type of content people respond to on TikTok and Instagram, be able to identify trends, and be able to iterate accordingly.

The Social Video Coordinator will be responsible for pitching ideas (including identifying existing Delish content to repurpose as social videos), reviewing pitches from editors, helping prep editors before shooting (providing inspiration videos and shot lists), and editing the footage for best performance. We’re looking for a self-starter who is comfortable using metrics to help inform their work.

This is a contract role for 20 hours/week, hybrid in the Delish New York City office.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ideal candidate will have a solid sense of what type of content people respond to on TikTok, Instagram & Facebook.
  • Candidate should be comfortable identifying and anticipating trending content, sounds, and creators across platforms.
  • Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms.
  • Ideate and pitch video ideas for Delish’s social platforms, including identifying existing content for repurposing.
  • Review and refine pitches from the Delish editors, freelancers, and PR contacts.
  • Prepare editors for shooting, including writing shot lists, gathering reference content, and identifying the goals of each piece of content.
  • Candidate should be a self-starter, who is comfortable utilizing metrics and analyzing past performers to inform overall content strategy.
  • Provide clear and succinct feedback to video editors to tailor content for each platform.
  • Interact with the Delish audience across video platforms, monitoring comments and reactions to live content.
  • Candidate should be proficient editing in-app across TikTok, Instagram & Facebook.
  • Experiences using Dash Hudson, CapCut & Asana is a plus.

The base hourly rate for this role is $25/hr.
