Territory Development Manager (Host Family Recruiter)

AIEP is a growing international company. Our team is dedicated to providing the best possible educational and living experience for our international students. We are currently looking for a self-motivated, sales-minded, Territory Development Manager (Host Family Recruiter) to help build our portfolio of Host Families in the Connecticut area!

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Host Family Recruitment & Sales: Responsible for the recruitment (sales) of new Host Families to the AIEP Home Stay Program. Recruitment/Sales responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Grow (recruit) and maintain a comprehensive portfolio of Host Families within an assigned territory. Find and cultivate leads.
  • Create and implement short- and long- term recruitment strategies, taking a proactive approach, to market and promote the AIEP Home Stay Program, securing optimal results. This includes conducting recruitment calls with prospective Host Families and holding informational sessions on the benefits of becoming a Host Family.
  • Engage new Host Families through targeted prospecting, development and recruitment efforts. Meet and exceed sales targets and goals within the assigned territory.
  • Utilize various marketing/sales tools, resources and strategies (including social media, yard signs, flyers/door hangers, Host Family Referral Program, etc.) to successfully create and conduct Host Family Recruitment Campaigns, resulting in the best return-on-investment.
  • Partner with community and business leaders to optimize existing marketing channels and search for new community outreach opportunities within assigned territory.
  • Identify, coordinate and attend marketing/recruitment events (ie. school open houses, community events, town halls, etc.) in an effort to attract new Host Families. Manage all pre/post-event communications and follow- up on potential leads in a timely fashion.
  • Verify and complete required reporting in CRM system, such as details of potential Host Family responses and any follow through actions needed. Efficiently enter data into CRM, Salesforce and Excel, maintaining accurate and up-to -date records. Follow up on leads daily, calling on prospective Host Families, and sharing the benefits of becoming an AIEP Host Family.
  • Maintain positive relationships with existing Host Families, building a strong and active referral base. Develop additional partnerships with community and business leaders to optimize existing channels of Host Family referrals and establish new opportunities within the territory.
  • Prepare reports to communicate results and success of campaigns and strategies to management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree, in marketing or business preferred.
  • 5+ years of relevant sales/marketing/recruitment experience with proven ability to meet and exceed recruitment goals/quotas, to cultivate and secure leads within an assigned territory.
  • Experience with “cold-calling, growing leads organically, attending and organizing local events to “get the word out”, and networking in the community. Prior outside and inside sales experience, in a quota-driven environment.
  • Prior work experience in a non-profit; such as educational institutions/school development, study abroad programs, foster care/adoption, social work, NGOs, local/national charities, and/or community and public relations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
  • Prior Host Family recruitment experience a plus.
  • Experience working for a small-medium sized organization, utilizing a localized, hands-on approach.
  • Ability to simultaneously build leads within areas with greatest, immediate need as well as potential, future needs. Must be able to easily adapt to changing priorities.
  • Self-motivated, driven and independent attitude to meet recruitment targets and accomplish goals/ objectives with minimal oversight and supervision.
  • Ability to build strong relationships within designated territory and can independently advertise and recruit Host Family leads through community events. Excellent presentation skills required.
  • Adept problem-solver and influencer. Ability to quickly learn and understand AIEP’s Home Stay Program and communicate the intricacies and vetting process to potential leads, laying the groundwork for clear expectations and successful placement of international students with Host Families.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Prior experience with Sales Force preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-up skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory during the week. Must be willing and able to travel to/from the Derby, CT office.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when needed (ie community events, school open houses, Host Family dinners, etc.).
