Title: Cleaning Technician

Normal Work Location: 220 Marc Drive, Cuyahoga Falls

Normal Working Hours: Monday - Friday / 3rd Shift 11pm to 7:30am / Full Time or Part-time / $1.00 Shift Differential

Position Summary

This position is responsible for processing tools through the cleaning process from receipt of customer tools to loading in a substrate cart. The position supports lean and safe environment while focusing on continuous improvement, quality, and support of teamwork throughout KHTL.

Essential Job Functions

• Un-package and handle incoming product
• Identify product
• Clean product by operating a Mira-Clean Ultrasonic
• Use of Wet Blast and Dry Blaster Machines
• Troubleshooting

Marginal / Less Essential Job Functions

• Team working and communication skills
• Maintain a clean work area
• Assist other departments for continuous improvement.

Educational Requirements

• High school diploma or completion of an accredited GED program.
• College graduate with two- or four-year degree in a technical discipline is preferred.

Other Qualifications Desired
Training & Experience

• Experience with precision cleaning metal parts and cleaning chemicals is preferred.

License required: N/A

Visual Acuity: Accommodation as required for reading computer screens, other reading materials, and viewing in a microscope.

Working Conditions:

• Normal work location is on the manufacturing floor with administrative work performed in a manufacturing office environment.
• This position is subject to regular lifting up to 70 lbs.
• In manufacturing areas, associate may be exposed to:
  • High noise levels
  • Physical hazards from moving equipment and hot parts
  • Breathing fumes, dusts, and mist
  • Exposure to cleaning chemicals

Additional Comments

• Associate is required to follow other job-related duties, subject to all Local, State and Federal laws and applicable regulations.

When overtime is scheduled, it is mandatory.

Shift Differential: additional $1.00
