Job Description
Direct support to the MBS trading desk or Convertible Bond Desk for all aspects of operations including but not limited to trade capture, amendments, pricing, P&L, TRACE, and FINRA requirements (ie 15c3-5)
o Manage the trade life cycle of MBS (FICC) Securities
o Oversee the successful clearing of DTCC, FICC, FedWire
- Gather all the necessary info for the preparation and delivery of margin requirements
- Confirming trade fails, trade confirmation, allocations, and security updates
- Monitor adequacy of client collaterals and work with TCS operations, Pershing and client to identify and remedy collateral deficiencies”
- New Account set-up
- In-depth investigations for all trade exceptions both internally and at Pershing to create timely resolutions
- Co-ordinate with internal business partners (risk, compliance, brokerage, trading desk, senior management, and technology)
o Process credit events and assist traders with their selections
- Liase with IT, Trade Support, & trading desks to resolve trade breaks
- Monitor cash and position breaks between GL and sub-ledger
- Responsible for T+1 life cycle events
o System improvements/enhancements
Qualifications
Additional Information
10+ years ecperience Direct support to the MBS trading desk or Convertible Bond Desk for all aspects of operations including but not limited to trade capture, amendments, pricing, P&L, TRACE, and FINRA requirements (ie 15c3-5)
Experience with external vendor systems (Pershing Netx360, Bloomberg)
- Series 7 and/or 99 preferred
