Training Supervisor

Objective

The Alabama Training & Development Supervisor will support the organization through identifying and monitoring training needs, designing, and planning and implementing training programs, policies, and procedures to fulfill those needs. Additionally, the Training and Development Supervisor will oversee the daily activities of training associates and consultants, and conduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.

Main Responsibilities

• Yearly reviews on existing training programs; implements continuous initiatives to improve engagement, learning and retention.
• Leads team of coordinators to ensure training materials and programs are current, accurate and effective.
• Maintains knowledge if new methods and techniques for training, and training requirements.
• Work collaboratively with teams to help identify problems and opportunities that training could improve.
• Conducts, schedules, and facilitates required and recommended training sessions.
• Collaborates with vendors and third-party training providers to arrange employees to participate in outside training programs.
• Ensures that training milestones and goals are met.
• Responsible to fulfill the requirements of verbal and written communications, procedures and work instructions, maintenance orders, training, and performing recordkeeping within assigned areas(s) of responsibility in order to assure compliance with environmental policy, legal and other requirements, and ISO 14001 Standard.
• Responsibilities for and authorized to ensure that product realization requirements, measurements, analysis and improvement are met in order to assure compliance with the quality policy and the IATF Standard. Additional requirements may be included in the QMS documentation.

Position Requirements

• Education / Training / Experience Required:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred
• At least two years of experience in training and/or supervision

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
