TRIGO Global Quality Solutions has an immediate opening for a Traveling Quality Supervisor in Osceola, WI.

Overall Purpose

The Travelling Supervisor assists the Project Manager in maintaining the proper material flow through required processes, ensuring that the service provided during the shift is conducted in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. This is accomplished by meeting or exceeding customer expectations. Additional projects as assigned.

Responsibilities

(To include but not limited to the following)

Client Relationship & Business Development

• Act as an impartial third party between the production source and the customer facility to ensure the product meets set criteria.

Operations

• Supervise the planning and execution of daily activities including current operations, customer requests, and new projects.
• Maintain required productivity and quality levels while implementing improvements when possible.
• Ensure the techniques for determining non-conforming product are accurate, meeting customer requirements, and maintain proper material flow.
• Assign daily workloads to ensure the work is completed in a timely manner.
• Communicate inspection status and requirements to customers and employees.
• Complete travel requests and maintain excel files to track flights, rental cars, hotel check in and out dates, and employee vacations.
• Arrange ride shares for employees.
• Participate in daily meetings with Project Manager to review all project details and updates.
• Partner with human resources and recruiting to ensure a positive and safe work environment as well as maintaining a fully staffed team.
• This position does include supervisory responsibilities.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Ability to travel on a flexible schedule as needed with variable lengths of time and distances.

Organization & Management

• Maintain company policies and procedures in accordance with directives from management.
• Interface with the customer in a professional manner and implement customer feedback into daily operations.
• Communicate sort/inspection results to managers, supervisors, and production source.
• Meet with customers regularly to ensure we are exceeding expectations.
• This position does include supervisory responsibilities.
• Complete other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned.

Technical

• Maintain company databases by adding new part procedures and editing existing procedures.
• MUST be able to use basic hand tools such as gaging, drills, taps, grinders and/or sanders to repair and/or clean parts and/or sub-assemblies.
• Utilize company portal for time recording and policy acknowledgements.
