Truck Driver Job at Premier Cooperative
Premier Cooperative is an Illinois farmer-owned cooperative providing agricultural commodities and energy products. Premier employs approximately 100 people across 26-grain elevators that surround the Champaign, Illinois area.

Essential Job Duties:
Drives assigned vehicle and deliver grain in accordance with rules and regulations of DOT and the State of Illinois- Responsible for the daily inspection and maintenance, including the appearance of the assigned vehicle
- Complete deliver tickets to ensure accurate billing
- Is knowledgeable of the government regulations concerning OSHA, EPA, and the handling and storing of grain
- Serves customers in a manner that promotes goodwill and acceptance of the company’s products and services
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Abide by all cooperative safety and environmental policies, protocol, and procedures
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Possess a Class A CDL Driver’s license with endorsements for air brakes and combination vehicles
- Ability to work independently
- Capacity to work overtime
- Grain and Lowboy Trailer experience preferred
- Ability to learn to operate other equipment as needed such as Trackmobile, Front End Loader, etc.
