LeFebvre Companies is a transportation company founded in 1928. We specialize in hauling over-sized freight and precast concrete products. We are a family-owned company that offers an atmosphere of success and growth within.

We are currently seeking Professional Class A CDL Company Truck Drivers in/around our Midwest full-service Bonner Springs, KS; Prairie City, IA; and Elk River MN locations; as well as our Fremont, NE and Hawley, MN, and Sioux Falls, SD locations!

We are looking for heavy haul drivers with experience in Multi Axle, RGN and/or Steer Dolly work. We offer paid training for specialized hauling. We have local and regional work for our Class A Truck Drivers. During “concrete season,” it’s mostly local work so your home at night; and our regional travel mostly includes travel between our Midwest Locations. Position is Monday through Friday. Occasional Saturday work is available.

Responsibilities:

• Maintains safe driving record; follows Federal, State and Local regulations
• Completes and updates progress of daily delivery schedule
• Completes and maintains accurate Hours of Service log according to FMCSA regulations
• Interacts with dispatch throughout the day to support changes in the delivery schedule
• Determines and communicates necessary repairs of equipment to appropriate personnel
• Works in a cooperative manner with dispatch team and co-workers
• Maintains professional relationships with those outside of company
• Performs vehicle walk around pre- and post-trip inspections according to FMCSA regulations
• Inspect and refuels vehicle daily, wash vehicle often
• Performs basic repairs and maintenance to truck and trailer

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Class A CDL required
• Clean driving record; able to drive equipment
• Able to complete daily inspection reports
• Able to keep vehicle in clean and proper working order
• Attention to Detail, Customer Focus, Integrity, Team Player

Travel:

• Up to 30-40% travel, with company credit card
• We pay for hotels and a daily per diem and a sleeper per diem when warranted

Minimum Physical Requirements:

• Push/pull up to 50 lbs
• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs
• Chain, strap and occasionally tarp loads
• Standing, walking, sitting, hearing, bending, kneeling, reaching
• Working conditions may be indoor and/or outdoor
• Noise level may be loud at times

DOT driving requirements:

Applicants must be able to obtain and hold a valid Class A CDL, obtain a DOT medical certification card, and pass a DOT pre-employment drug screen and physical.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
