Turnaround Materials & Logistics Supervisor

Position Purpose:

The Turnaround Materials & Logistics Supervisor plans, controls, and evaluates all activities related to the materials management, inventory control and receiving of materials for projects and turnarounds. Works with planning and procurement to develop and monitor material strategies and utilization. Manages the inventory management database.

Duties & Responsibilities:

AXion Turnaround Materials & Logistics Supervisor will:

• Maintain and reconcile turnaround inventories
• Supervise and organize multiple turnarounds
• Coordinate the logistics with client and vendors
• Assist in the hiring of supplemental turnaround personnel

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Proficient with Microsoft applications, SAP and various software inventory management software solutions
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail along with ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple assignments
• Ability to work a flexible schedule during events (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays, on call availability)
• 3-5 years of experience in supervision and materials management/logistics in a petrochemical environment.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
