Tutor for 4th/5th Grade Students with Dyslexia | San Jose, CA Job at Tutor Corps
Tutor Corps was founded in 2002 with the mission of providing exceptional 1:1 tutoring support. We are currently in search of an in-person tutor with a background in elementary and special education to work with three 4th/5th grade students with dyslexia in San Jose (Rising Oak Nature Education). This will be 3 hours a day for 2-3 days a week. The instructor will work one-on-one with each student (one hour per student). Monday, Wednesday, and Friday are preferred.
We may have an additional ~10 hours/week of in-person tutoring opportunities available in the South Bay and San Jose areas. The tutor we hire can also join our roster to work with other students online.
Tutors who work with us have at least one year of tutoring or teaching experience, hold a bachelor’s degree, have superb written and verbal communication skills, and love making a difference in students' lives. Teaching credentials are a bonus but not required.
