Unit Manager Job at Meadowbrook Care Center
Meadowbrook Care Center is seeking an experienced RN or LPN Unit Manager to oversee all aspects of operating a unit within a health care facility. Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in Long Term Care or sub-acute preferred.
Duties of Unit Manager:
- Oversee daily operations of 40 bed unit
- Assist with Admissions
- Participate in care plan meetings and discharge planning process
- Attend and participate in weekly meetings, as required
- Serve as liaison between family, patient, doctor and other departments
- Manage staff and assignments to ensure quality of care
- Report on patient conditions in weekly risk meetings
- Conduct annual evaluations of staff
Requirements of the Unit Manager:
- Clinical experience in acute or Long-Term Care
- Infection control
- Organizational and Multitasking skills
- Listening and verbal communication skills
- Patient Safety focus
- Active applicable state licensure
- American Heart Association issued BLS
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
