Schedule

1st Shift: Monday – Thursday, 5A-3:30P with Overtime, as needed

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates machine
• Fits and assembles parts to make or repair metal parts, mechanisms, tools, or machines
• Determines dimensions and tolerances of piece to be machined, sequence of operations and machines required by studying specifications, such as blueprint, sketch, damaged part or description of part
• Plans and executes assignments using machine tools ranging from lathes to milling machines
• May operate computer console/computer-controlled machine
• Utilizes precision measuring instruments to check accuracy of work
• Must be able to meet attendance standards

Qualifications

• Proficient use of hand and power tools
• Experience using calipers and micrometers
• Experience running manufacturing machinery (i.e. Roll Mill, Punch Press, etc.)
• Experience setting up manufacturing machinery
• Excellent trouble-shooting capabilities
• Experience must speak to the responsibilities of this position
