Tax – EY EDGE – International Tax and Transaction Services – Transfer Pricing Documentation – Analyst

The International Tax and Transaction Services (ITTS) practice comprises three competencies that are focused on advising corporate and private equity clients on all aspects of their capital agenda: Transaction Tax Advisory (TTA), International Corporate Tax Advisory (ICTA) and Transfer Pricing (TP).

EDGE stands for Exceptional Delivery and Growth Engine because this team operates in a technical environment with deep process and service delivery experience that distinguishes the EY organization in the marketplace. Our EDGE practice serves as an accelerant of TP documentation services.

As a Transfer Pricing Documentation Analyst, you’ll be heavily involved at all stages of the documentation report lifecycle, making this a high-profile opportunity to take on a wide range of responsibilities and diversify your skills and experience. It’s all about translating information from a variety of sources into quantitative and qualitative deliverables for our clients.

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in TP documentation reports and EY technology and processes trainings to help develop your career through a broad scope of engagements, mentoring and formal learning.

Your key responsibilities

  • Provide a fully integrated approach to transfer pricing by reviewing client materials, preparing documents, participating in fact-finding interviews and preparing functional analyses for senior management review.
  • Supply innovative transfer pricing and economic ideas alongside responsive services and work products while also executing on utilization of EY software and technology, designing and implementing process improvement, and analyzing initiatives that drive efficiency in data collection and reporting capabilities to senior management.
  • Coordinate work with other client service colleagues globally and at our Global Delivery Services Center to drive collaboration and reporting efficiencies to senior management.
  • Engage in decision-making by providing senior management with timely, detailed and meaningful insights and visibility on transfer pricing engagement performance.
  • Execute transfer pricing compliance and other reporting obligations for EY clients, including country-by-country reporting, master file and local files, and providing to senior management for review.

  • Qualifications
    • A predicted undergraduate degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Management, or related field
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • The ability to manage tasks independently and team successfully across functions and geographies
    • Familiarity or a strong interest in technology and automation with a willingness to improve Transfer Pricing documentation report processes
    • The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary
    • Access to reliable transportation to/from the EY office and client sites. A driver’s license is strongly recommended as ride share and public transportation options may not be available in all locations.
