SUMMARY
Provide general support to Earthmoving Sales Department by performing the following duties.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform used equipment inspections for Used Equipment Manager and/or Sales Manager and assist in determining equipment value
Assist General Sales Manager and Used Equipment Manager as needed.
Accompany Sales Representatives on demos of machines.
Assist Used Equipment Manager in locating and purchasing used equipment for resale or salvage.
Assist in sale of equipment to wholesale buyers.
Accompany new machines to delivery point and instruct owner/operator on proper and safe operation of machine as requested by sales representative.
Assist in machine and attachment inventories and reconciliation.
Scheduling of equipment orientations with sales staff and customers.
Accompany new machines on delivery to perform orientation as requested.
Provide orientation training on specialized machine attachments.
Other duties may be assigned.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Associate’s Degree (A.A.) from a two year college; or up to one year related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series’ of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must have a valid California driver’s license class C or higher and a clean D.M.V. report.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be willing to drive or otherwise travel for periods of up to seven days away from home.

• SKILLS and ABILITIES*

Must be a self-starter, who is able to work with little direction and supervision. Ability to handle multiple tasks time management, and be detailed orientated. Must have P.C. computer experience. Must have good technical communication skills appropriate to functioning in a business like manner with parts, service and sales personnel as well as external customers.

COMPENSATION
Pay Range: $70,000 - $80,000 Annually
Pay Range Dependent on Knowledge, Skills, and Ability.
