Job Title: Vet Clinic Learning Specialist

Reports To: VP of Service Operations
Summary:
The Vet Clinic Learning Specialist is a key contributor to the Veterinary Clinic sign-up and activation of an online platform that ships the right product based on a nutritional plan for the pet, direct to the pet parent’s home. This position will train and support the vet clinics on the platform, as well as drive subscription sign-ups through engaging and working with the staff on communicating the great benefits of the platform to their clients. This position will remain the key contact for the clinic through their continued utilization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, and other duties as assigned:
  • Be the primary field support through virtual presentations, in person meetings and via phone for Veterinary Clinics in assigned territories to assist in education, activation, and continued engagement with direct to home platform
  • Conduct virtual and in person Lunch & Learn education sessions to provide initial set up, training, and on-going support for Vet clinic staff
  • Engage and maintain collaborative relationships with vet clinics in assigned territories on an ongoing basis
  • Maintains an effective level of literacy on the vet portal functionalities and platform that translate into expertise in troubleshooting, reporting, and training
  • Participate in creating engagement strategies and marketing programs that will increase pet parent activity on the platform
  • Communication on a regular basis with a cross-functional team that includes the customer field team, customer development team, and customer service team
Qualifications Required:
  • Associates degree with 1+ years of customer facing experience
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or experience working in a Veterinary Clinic or 2+ years of vet field sales experience
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule depending on the needs of the clinic, which may include some weekends and evenings
  • Planning/organizing—the individual is a highly motivated self-starter who demonstrates effective time management skills and project planning
  • Adaptability—the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events
  • Oral communication—the individual speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations, demonstrates strong group presentation skills and ability to conducts meetings
  • Written Communication—the individual edits work for spelling and grammar, presents numerical data effectively, and is able to read and interpret written information. Excellent proofreading skills a must.
  • Quality control—the individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality
  • Fluency working with web based technology platforms (basic tableau skills) and working knowledge of eCommerce interfaces
  • Dependability—the individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction, and solicits feedback to improve performance
  • Safety and security—the individual actively promotes and personally observes safety and security procedures, and uses equipment and materials properly
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace skills desired
  • Adobe Acrobat or Canva experience a plus
  • Ability to travel in the field as needed with up to 25% overnight travel
