SAGE Dining Services, Inc. is seeking a Vice President of Human Resources for our growing North American company.

The VP of Human Resources is part of SAGE's Senior Management Team and reports directly to the founders of the company. The Vice President supervises all human resource functions including compensation, benefits, employee relations, and talent management in a high-growth, multi-state, multi-national environment. Our goal is to attract and nurture a high-performing workforce through innovative talent management policies, using in-house technology solutions.

Pay Type: $150,000 - $300,000 Salary

Time Commitment: Full Time, on site, in Baltimore, MD

What you'll do:

  • Supervise all Human Resource functions including compensation, benefits, employee relations, and talent management.
  • Support operations management by providing Human Resources expertise and guidance.
  • Attract and nurture a high-performing workforce through innovative talent management policies, using in-house technology solutions.
  • Communicate SAGE's mission, values, and policies.
  • Provide expertise and support for the continually changing areas of Human Resources.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the Human Resources Team Members.
  • Minimum ten years of Human Resources experience, with at least five in a management capacity.

What you'll need:

  • Strong leadership abilities in developing skilled teams.
  • Experience developing/implementing in-house technology solutions.
  • Substantial experience across all HR functions; compensation, benefits, performance assessment, recruitment, payroll, retention, and succession planning.
  • Deep understanding of employment laws and experience enforcing key labor laws, including FMLA, ADEA, EEO, ADA.
  • Expertise in training, safety, and communications.
  • Excellent public speaking skills.
  • Strong computer and analytical skills.
  • Strong relationship building skills.
  • Experience with a wide range of human resources vendors.
  • SHRM certifications a plus.
  • High energy, positive attitude, superior ethics.
