Vocational Program Coordinator Job at Orchard Village
Orchard Village is seeking a Full Time Vocational Program Coordinator to join our team!
Description:
Work closely with the Senior Director of Programs to ensure the successful operation of the Vocational Department. Oversee day-to-day administrative activities regarding billing, compliance, data collection, and oversight of digital and paper files. Maintain a caseload of vocational clients, and perform a combination of job development, coaching, and job retention activities. Coordinate team meetings, employment staffings, and interdisciplinary team meetings, ensuring the completion of all required documentation. Function as liaison and point-of-contact person for outside agencies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, Rehabilitation, or a related field AND at least 1 year of experience in the field of vocational rehabilitation -OR- a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling
- Knowledge of the Illinois Division of Rehabilitation Services and Division of Developmental Disabilities regulations
- Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications
- Valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, and ability to travel to multiple sites
