We are open to filling this position in or near any of our physical office locations (Eden Prairie, MN; Madison, WI; Denver, CO; Urbandale or Des Moines, IA; Scottsdale, AZ or Omaha, NE) and for the right candidate a remote location is an option for the states in which we operate in.

We can hire this position as ENGINEER III or IV . Requirements for each position are listed in the qualifications section. We will assess applicants based on skills set and years of relevant experiences.**
Responsibilities:

The Voice & Collaboration Engineer provides advanced network implementation, support and troubleshooting services related to Cisco and Microsoft collaboration, voice, contact center and video technologies. This position maintains constant contact with customers to ensure that services conform to requirements.


The Voice & Collaboration Engineer position also provides a broad range of services in the assessment of customer's data / voice network infrastructure requirements, including network and security products. Services provided include in-depth knowledge of the customer’s infrastructure and configurations and requires engaging with other divisional engineer resources to provide the appropriate resolution for our customers.


Responsibilities:

  • Implementation and support of Cisco voice technologies, including Communications Manager, Unity Connections, UCCX, UCCE/PCCE, CWMS, WebEx, WebEx Calling, and WebEx Contact Center
  • Work with Telecom carriers for troubleshooting and understanding number ports between carriers.
    Research and engineer technology based upon capacity or functionality requirements.
  • Implement tactical plans to meet the timelines and to ensure minimal disruption to the Customer environment.
  • Assist with development of documentation for standards requirements within the department.
  • Create documentation for both internal use and customer deliverables. Produce complete system requirements and/or specifications as appropriate.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in technology (i.e. attend conferences or training, complete vendor provided trainings, review/study technical journals).

VOICE & COLLABORATION ENGINEER III

  • Bachelor’s degree -OR- 4+ years of professional work experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience supporting complex Cisco or Microsoft collaboration and voice networks.
  • Cisco CCNA or Microsoft 365 certified, or willingness to pursue certification within one year of employment; CCNP or CCIE a strong plus.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, insurance, and have access to reliable transportation.
  • Availability to consult, assist and/or perform after-hours support, including onsite, and participate in on-call rotations.
  • Some travel will be required, and the frequency will depend on where you live and client location(s)

VOICE & COLLABORATION ENGINEER IV

  • Bachelor’s degree -OR- 4+ years of professional work experience.
  • 7+ years’ experience supporting complex Cisco or Microsoft collaboration and voice networks.
  • Experience with UCCE or PCCE platforms.
  • Cisco CCIE, or Microsoft 365 certified, or willingness to pursue certification within one year of employment.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, insurance, and have access to reliable transportation.
  • Availability to consult, assist and/or perform after-hours support, including onsite, and participate in on-call rotations.
  • Some travel will be required, and the frequency will depend on where you live and client location(s)

Other Qualifications:

  • Experience with hosted or cloud UC technologies, specifically Cisco WebEx Calling, and or WebEx Contact Center preferred.
  • Implementation and support of Microsoft voice and video calling technologies, including Teams, Teams Calling and Microsoft Calling Plans.
  • Experience with UCCE or PCCE platforms.
  • Working knowledge of Network Routing and Switching.
  • End-to-end QOS knowledge across a Cisco LAN/WAN infrastructure.
  • Security and video technologies.
  • WAN or SD-WAN design experiences as related to voice a plus.
  • Skilled in using Visio and other network documentation software.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Complex network concepts and implementations.
  • Ability to work on assignments that are complex in nature and where considerable judgment and initiative are required in implementation and problem resolution.
  • Project Coordination experience is a benefit.
  • Ability to provide technical direction in a timely fashion, utilizing standard methodologies that satisfy customer requirements.
