We are currently looking for a VP Commercial Loan Officer. In this role, you are responsible for the development of new and existing business relationships, generating a high quality, well-structured, and profitable commercial loan portfolio and collaborating on associated deposit relationships. You'll act as a senior level loan officer in alignment with the Credit Union’s target markets, industries and products. You will manage assigned loan portfolios to ensure superior service levels and to monitor changes in credit quality. You'll provide training and mentorship to junior loan officers and members of the support teams as needed. You will consult on organizational project teams, as necessary, for the development and implementation of new business products and services.
To thrive in this role, you should have eight to ten years of similar or related commercial lending experience and a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or related field. This position is equal parts attention to detail, and fostering relationships. This might be the role for you if you enjoy working in a role requiring business development and acumen, problem solving and analytical thinking.

• Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills.

• Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive innovative strategies and implement them in a timely, effective manner.

• Must be able to handle multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines, deal with sensitive information and handle problem resolution.

• Provide support and training to junior loan officers and members of the support teams. Effectively communicate with internal and external customers appropriately via in person, email

• Experience in multi-tasking, meeting strict deadlines, dealing with sensitive information, and problem resolution while providing exceptional service.

• Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office and all internal systems as affiliated with the department.

• Ability to adapt quickly to change and proactively communicate.
